No one is totally alone in our CCfamily, we all care for each other and help out where ever we can, when we got time for it.
Personally
I deal with "everything", but my focus is advertisement, new writers, support by phone/Skype and writer care in person.
That's my main thing.
I also program webpages, do a lot of research and travel amongst the writers for personal talks.
Especially the last part takes several months each year, so in my absence, please refer to Farmer/Laila, my second hand, if not the first.
Writers
Each blog has its own writer, and it's the same person who writes all blog posts - otherwise we confuse the audience.
It's totally okay to have a guest writer, but it must be totally clear, that it is a post from a guest.
Writers have - and needs to have - total control of their own blogs.
Supportive writers
The Poet/the Gamer/Lucienna is our most effective supportive writer and therefore in control of assigning supporters to the respective blogs. I have known her since 2008, and you can rely on her confidentially 100%.
Programmers
Our programmers make the templates/ design and the coding of the writers blogs, according to the writers wishes. They do not edit any posts. I really don't think, they would even take time to read it ,-) They simply don't have the time for anything else than css, dhtml, java scripting etc etc.
However everything you programmers may learn about our writers during maintenance - you already know, but I repeat - it is strictly confidential.
You are not allowed to refer to our writers in any way. Our writers most important right here, is to be able to stay anonymous
The writers, who needs to be totally anonymous, are assisted by name given supportive writer and a name given programmer.
Since my long time friend (also since 2008) the Farmer/Laila is a skilled programmer, she is in charge of assigning programmers for each task.
Maintenance
Normally the blog runs itself, the writer writes, insert a picture, label the post and publish.
But from time to time, we need to change some stuff.
Facebook for instance, has very specific demands for link picture sizes. Other platforms have other demands. If they change their rules, we have to change with it - and we get in touch with the programmers.
If you as writer wish to make changes to your template, you also need to get in touch with the one of the programmers.
Images, pictures, movies
We share and borrow amongst each other - but we keep the confidential information to ourselves.
Movie production
We produce movievlips ourselves, we have a manager Jeanne Dark, who is in charge of that.
She uses her own models , since she cant visit all over the world all the time.
Level1 Blogs
For instance, take a blog like TMB (Total Mental Breakdown). This is one of the high level blogs.
The author has suffered thru a lot, and it helped her to write. It took me a long time before she got confidence enough in me, to even start to let me promote a bit. I did it at the time, since it was a very important subject.
She saw the effects of my work, and you have to make her understand, it's not +20.000 people, who visits her blog a day to hurt her. Its +20.000 people who seeks help, and since they revisit many many times after that, they find help and support in her experiences.
This is a dream blog for me, we get offers from radio stations, tv-interviews, newspapers, magazines etc - BUT - no matter what happens - this is not supposed to put any pressure on the author. Her identity must remain strictly confidential - as well as the identity of the visitors of the site.
We unfortunately still have to pass on such events, however, she starts to consider it now - that's a huge change from "not in a million years."
This blog has stopped 4 people with suicide thoughts, given hope to at least 746 people. I assume this number might be even higher, cause remember, not everybody takes the time to write to us, so I assume this is just a percentage.
With a visitor count on the page that's (unfortunately) high and still climbing -
I don't care if its 4 or 100 people this blog was able to help out of those horrifying thoughts - It's my evaluation, that this blog must have the absolute highest priority in author security. That's why we don't put pressure on the writer for tv show interviews for instance.
Level 2 blogs
Netizenquotes.com (previously Quotes and cartoons) is a common project. All quotes used on our websites, is made by our own designers and writers, and we chose to make a searchable quotes collection.
We have a huge visitor count, which means a lot of people find quotes etc. they find funny/useful/helpful.
In level 1 we try to prevent people from killing themselves because of mental problems.
Let's try to make this level 2 the best we possible can, to spread joy, love, fun and suggestions for activities amongst friends.
During maintenance, a programmer will be working on the blog, setting up new functions, changing theme etc etc. During that time, we publish a "maintenance post", so its visible for readers, that we are working.
